What inspired you to book your session?

I found Emma's work during a time where my life was being flipped upside down. In a very short span of time I became a first time mother, endured a series of life-altering medical traumas, and gone through a difficult divorce.

I didn't feel like I knew who I was anymore both mentally and physically, but I knew that I wanted to know.

So I booked a shoot hoping to get re-aquainted with myself and celebrate the body that saw me through such a hard season.

How did you feel leading up to your session?

I spent a lot of time going back and forth between excitement and absolute dread. I nearly pulled the plug about three times out of sheer anxiety.

But I worked at reminding myself of why I booked in the first place and by the week of all I felt was bewildered excitement!

How did you feel during your session?

I felt so at ease! Emma and Mason were so kind and open, they truly make it so comfortable throughout the entire process. Emma really goes above and beyond talking you through posing and what she's doing. I'd never done anything like this before and the experience was so comfortable and fun.

How did you feel about your body after your session?

I feel amazing! I look in the mirror and I'm so proud of this body and it's unique beauty. I've never felt more confident in my own skin before now!

What emotions did you feel after your session?

I felt joyful, empowered, and sexy as hell. I was buzzing the entire rest of the day and I feel so much more appreciative of my body.

What was your favorite part about your session?

Is it terrible to say talking books? While that was fun, my favorite part was talking with everyone and hearing how much joy they get out of doing what they do. Emma really is here to help show you how unique and beautiful you are.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about doing a session?

For starters, absolutely just do it. Say yes to the opportunity to celebrate yourself exactly as you are! Any nerves you have will disappear the moment you step foot inside the studio because of Emma's warmth and sincerity in capturing you looking like the magical goddess you are.
