What inspired you to book your session?

I'd been interested in doing a boudoir session for a while before I booked, and then Emma ran a Black Friday sale and I decided to make the jump!

How did you feel leading up to your session?

I was a little nervous leading up to my session for a couple reasons. I've been recovering from a back injury for the last year or so and haven't been able to workout like I typically do, so I wasn't feeling as "fit" for my session as I wanted to be. I was also worried that I wouldn't "translate" well to camera and would look uncomfortable or awkward or not know what to do with my hands/face. But Emma provided so much information and reassurance leading up to our session that I was mostly excited to get to it!

How did you feel during your session?

My session felt seamless! While I was getting my hair and makeup done, it felt like I was just hanging out and talking with friends. After that, the entire session flowed so comfortably. Emma guided me through every pose and set, and my partner and I were laughing and smiling the whole time. Emma and Mason did a great job matching our energy. We had so much fun - I've never been more comfortable being naked in front of practical strangers!

How did you feel about your body after your session?

I was pleasantly surprised by how all our photos during the reveal turned out - not because I had any doubt about the quality of Emma and Mason's work, but because I was worried I wouldn't look my best. But every single photo was fantastic! The whole experience made me feel so confident and in tune with myself.

What was your favorite part about your session?

Honestly it was just so nice to spend a day getting dolled up and having a couple hours dedicated to me and my partner just being together and in love. We had such a positive, fun experience and felt like we really found new friends in Emma and Mason.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about doing a session?

Don't do it unless 1) you're ready to become obsessed with yourself and 2) you're prepared to become obsessed with doing another session as soon as you can.
